Durga Aunty got married when we
were staying in Jeevan Bhima Nagar.
A wedding party of uncles, Aunts & cousins
came down from Bengal, and there was a
beautiful & colourful wedding ceremony in
typical Bengali style.

We moved to our own house in Indiranagar in 1980.
With Bangalore's fine weather, holiday seasons
brought many visiting cousins, and there was
much fun and enjoyment.

Mia and Arati were closest to each other in age
among the 30 odd cousins on Mummy's side.
They spent a lot of time together on holidays,
and after they grew up were often mistaken, one
for the other!
