The family went on a number of holiday trips in the late 70's & early 80's, before leaving for Delhi in
1983: Kemmangudi with its quiet hills & beautiful gardens, picnics to Nandi Hills where the monkeys followed us around
eyeing our lunch baskets, Coorg where we stayed with Lily Aunty & family in their estate home, the Maharaja's old hunting
lodge at Jogimutt outside Chitradurga, the sprawling Government bungalow in Ooty, and a wonderful week in Goa spent mainly
on the beaches.
